Bhubaneshwar Smart City has onboarded datasets on IUDX to create multimodal application for commuters and green corridor for emergency vehicles. The multimodal application will integrate various public transport mechanisms available in the city to provide a single interface to the user for planning their travel and addressing the last mile connectivity issues. The city is also working on the Green Corridor for emergency vehicles. With this use case the authorities will be able to create temporary green corridor on pre-defined lane for ambulances and other emergency vehicles in real time, facilitating smooth movement for such vehicles. It would also ensure minimum use of resources and personnel and would minimise disruption of the normal traffic.
