Chennai experiences heavy rain every year, which leads to flooding in multiple areas of the city. Keeping that in mind, Chennai is working on flood monitoring and prediction use case with IUDX. Under this project, the city will deploy a more accurate flood prediction system that takes into account multiple factors that go beyond heavy rainfall concerns. The system will help to proactively manage and minimize the impact of flooding by informing the citizens and disaster management authorities to take necessary actions much in advance.
